If i just let it sit there and idle it will continue to make noise even after it has warmed up. I can drive it down the road a mile or 2 and it stops making the noise. but i have to drive it to make it stop.

They are reboxing the lifters from the main manufacturers. As far as cost difference there are many grades of lifter depending on application.
