WebNov 10, 2011 · The breaker controls 3 ceiling lights and two outlets (kitchen florescent, dining room light and living room light and two non-gfci standard wall outlets). We reset it a few times just having just one light on and every time it would trip again in about 4-6 minutes. A few other times it would automatically trip right after we reset it. The old ones with the T12 tubes still work fine. The newer T12 and the newest T8 fixtures will randomly trip the GFCI breaker.

Label it properly and use a single receptacle not a duplex. Maybe even put a locking cover on it after you plug the light in to clearly designate that receptacle as not for general use.
