I put in 50-60 M6 rivnuts without problem, but when I tried some M5s, the threads on the tool started breaking after the 5th or 6th rivnut and it fully jammed after about 10.

These fasteners are pulled up like a rivet, expanding and squishing the fluted section of the sides into the hole in your pipe.
